World War II Memorial Park
A beautifully landscaped cemetery, the War Memorial is located at Tanjung Purun on the outskirts of Labuan town (formerly Victoria Town). The memorial is the final resting place of fallen Allied soldiers. Maintained by the Commonwealth War Commission, it is a poignant memorial to the 4,000 Australian, New Zealand, and British Allied servicemen who had lost their lives during the World War II. A section is also dedicated to the Indian Soldiers of the Punjab Regiment who died fighting alongside their comrades. Many visitors, especially those from Australia, often return annually to pay their respects to lost friends and relatives.

One United Front for Sabah

Here’s a pop quiz for all of you and a very good one.. who is the king of sabah?Who else if not those band of PTIs. My mind can’t stop pondering on how immortal are them to our law and justice as if they can do whatever they want or like and the law enforcement do nothing but to keep on advising our people to be more careful towards those PTIs. Tell me please, how to keep on this alarm mode and precaution if they are everywhere and to do bad acts freely around the clock? This is one ugly face of reality. We are flooded by an army of the unseen.

Take a good look around and think a little bit. How many of them and compare it to our locals on the streets, markets, malls, parks, bus stops, etc. Take a look at their little children roaming around homeless and their youth terrorizing the streets while their elders are among the fearful people there is. Not forgetting the drug smuggling, murders, etc. Destruction of our own culture.

I have another fearful thought towards them. Their population is way bigger than us, locals. We are really really outnumbered by an extreme margin. This is what most people should by now realize. Everything out there is being stolen from us. This is an unseen imperialism. Wake up my friends!! You are being robbed day and night, 24 7. Do you really want this to happen?

There another threat regarding to this. I don’t think our people are forever ready to confront those band of PTIS if war is sparked. Do you? Do you know that the ‘neighboring’ parties are clamming back our homeland as one of their’s? I wonder how many arms have they been hiding for that purpose of clamming back by force? Are you ready for war? We are writing our own destruction if none of us try to let the mass aware of this.

Do you think that our brothers in the peninsular will come to combat the war together with us here if it really happens? Even if it so, how many of our people have already been slaughtered before our brothers arrive for the help? I tell you a secret, if the time comes, we don’t even have the time to get the ‘parang panjang‘ from the kitchen but those PTIs have already M16, AK-47, Molotov, etc. in hands while bombing freely and killing.

They are the unseen army of our own enemy. They are here in front of our eyes but everyone just keep it silent and low. My gosh, I don’t know what and how to say it anymore. I really hope that I’ll always going to sing ‘Sabah Tanah Air ku’. This is truely a national crisis but sad to say, not even our own so called leaders want to take note on this. I hope that what I’ve been blabbing out for the past 1 hour can spark, even a little bit, that’s enough for me of your awareness to this matter.

Together we stand for one mother, one nation and one united front.

Please help find our daughter

Front-a-11

11th June, 2008

Distressed parents Hairy Lojimin, 53 and Rosnie Majamin, 49, are pleading to the public to help find their daughter who disappeared about a year ago.

Their youngest child Helena (pictured), now 17, was last seen leaving her aunt’s house in July last year to meet her friends in the city.

She never returned home after that. Hairy, a Menggatal resident, said his daughter used to live with her aunt when she was in Form Four. “We do not know why she did not come home.

We never had any heated argument but if we had offended her in any way, we would like to say sorry…we just want her to come home,” he said. Hairy said he has already lodged a police report on Helena’s disappearance.

Anyone who knows Helena’s whereabouts can contact Hairy (013-8720697) or Rosnie (012-8306510) or her elder sister Rozita (016-5853566). – By JOSEPH JUPIOL

Future Pedictions

Take Your time and read it as reference and guide for future prediction...

Mr. Juseleeno, born in 1960(reportedly still alive in 2008), is a Brazilian who has made many predictions, and MOST have come to pass, including Princess Diana’s death by car accident (which is instigated by someone near her and will probably unfortunately be written off as a car accident), 911 and the 2004 Indonesian tsunami. He sees the future in his dreams, and has an average of 3 to 9 such predictions per day. When he wakes up, he will write them down, and send warnings to those concerned. If it concerns only a normal individual, he will write a letter to warn him/her. If it is a famous person(celebrity, politician etc.), or matters concerning the public, he will not only send it to the individual himself/herself, but also related agencies, government, and media. He urged the media to publicise these predictions, but the reply always went along the lines of rejection for fear of arousing public panic.

Future predictions:

2008, July: There will be an earthquake in Japan, which will cause a tsunami of 30 plus metres high to occur as well.

18th September: An earthquake with magnitude of approximately 9.1 will rock China , simultaneously causing a tsunami of more than 30 metres to occur, resulting in the deaths of more than 1 million people. Although this huge earthquake will happen after the Olympics have ended, there will be a series of relatively smaller earthquakes occurring in China before the huge earthquake. The China government, which is more concerned with the success of the Olympics, will most likely neglect to employ appropriate cautionary measures, thus the high casualty rate. If the China government does not publicise the occurrence of these minor earthquakes and evacuate people, the number of deaths will be as predicted.

2008, 17th December: terrorist attack in America

2010: The temperatures in some countries of Africa could be as high as 58 degrees Celsius, and there will be a serious shortage of water.

2010, 15th June: The New York Stock Exchange market will fail, causing an international financial crisis.

2011: The research on the treatment of some cancers will be completed, but a new life-threatening virus will appear. People who are infected will die after only approx. 4 hours of coming into contact with the virus.

2013, 1st – 25th November: Research on treatment of cancers, except for brain tumors, will be completed. An earthquake, caused by volcanic eruptions, will happen on Bahama Island of the Canary Islands. A gigantic tsunami of roughly 150 metres will result. America mainlands, Brazil etc. will be affected, with the tsunami pushing into the land as far as 15 to 20 kilometres. Before the occurrence of this gigantic tsunami, the sea/ocean water levels will sink by about 6 metres, and large flocks of birds will start to migrate.

2014: A small planet that has been gradually closing in on Earth might eventually collide with Earth, and this collision, if come to pass, will affect the survival of humans as a whole.

2015: By the mid of November, the average temperature of Earth could be as high as 59 degrees Celsius. Many people will die from the overheat, and international confusion and terror ensues.

2016, April: A huge typhoon will invade China, causing massive damage. The 43rd USA president, George Walker Bush, will enter the hospital, and faces a life or death situation.

2026, July: A super earthquake will occur in Sans Francisco, and it will be named “The Big One”. Huge damage to surrounding areas. Many volcanoes will re-activate, and the height of resulting tsunami will be more than 150 metres.

Mr. Juseleeno made known his predictions in hopes that people will take heed of his warnings, so that these disasters may be avoided. He hopes there will be a major change in the thinking of people’s mindsets in the time period 2007 – 2008. One factor will be the environmental issue of global warming, which is more serious than what some meteorologists assume.

Let us wait and see how true is this prediction and hope this is not spam.

Kiandee's rejection of motion a betrayal to Sabahans

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sabah has taken Deputy Speaker Datuk Ronald Kiandee to task for having rejected the motion on the proposal to set up the Royal Commission of Inquiry on Illegal Immigrants in Sabah.

Its Deputy Chairperson Christina Liew said he had betrayed Sabahans and done great injustice to the people.

"Ronald, being a Sabahan himself, should understand the critical and pathetic situation facing Sabahans for almost four decades. The influx of illegal immigrants has a devastating impact on the people of Sabah, from prevalence of communicable disease to drug trafficking, mushrooming of squatter colonies and security issues. It is not surprising if there are more illegals than locals in some parts of the east coast of Sabah.

"Therefore, Ronald's rejection on the ground of irrelevancy is totally unacceptable," she said in a statement from Brisbane, Australia, Sunday.

Liew claimed that the illegals are becoming "king-makers" as they possess MyKads and have become Bumiputeras instantly, and thus have the power to shape the political destiny of Sabah.

"The presence of a large population of outsiders is so 'influential' that some of our government departments are giving way their (outsiders) antics. For example, we are not short of cases whereby local native lands are taken way in the name of development but, at the same time, illegals are allowed to build houses in our backyard or occupy State or Federal government quarters and lands."

While commending MP for Kimanis Datuk Anifah Aman's intention to set up the Parliamentary Select Committee to resolve Sabah's long-standing problems, Liew said whether he is able to achieve the desired results is left to be seen.

"We used to have a Sabah MP (in the person of Tan Sri Bernard Dompok) who was unable to get the co-operation of one particular Federal department in carrying out his duties as the then Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Integrity," she said.

Liew also queried Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on the outcome of the Committee to study the illegals issue (headed by him) as earlier announced and promised by the latter.

"Likewise, the announcement by the Chief Minister on the building of more detention centres in Sabah is a sheer waste of public funds and will not serve the purpose of getting rid of them."

PKR, she said, would not hesitate to suggest that the proposed detention centres be built in KL. "Perhaps only then will the Federal Government take a serious view of the problem plaguing Sabah."

Calling on Sabahans to start getting their act together, Liew said they must show the KL leadership that they (Sabahans) won't simply take any crap handed down to them just because Umno-led Barisan Nasional (BN) won 59 out of 60 State seats, and 24 out of 25 Parliamentary seats.

"We PKR urge all Sabah MPs to rise up and speak in one voice in Parliament. Tell the Federal Government 'enough is enough'. We want action, we want our Sabah MPs to walk the talk," she said.

Bosannnnnnnnnn lari ke Lahad Datu trusssssss

Hari ni 2hb Jun 2008, setelah puas berehat dari menjadi jurugambar sempena Pesta Kaamatan Peringkat Negeri Sabah untuk tahun 2008, saya mengambil keputusan yang agak drastic (drastic kah) untuk kembali ke daerah saya membesar iaitu LAHAD DATU (LD sedap sikit bunyinya).

Memandangkan di KK pun tidur saja kerjanya, sampai sakit badan jadinya, sia tanpa berfikir panjang, ambil beg dan isi dua pasang baju (terlupa berus gigi, nanti beli di LD lah), sia terus ke KK dengan menaiki teksi (RM18). Jam di tangan time tu tu pun baru menunjukkan 5 petang.

Bukannya sedap pun, cuma bestlah.

Bila tengok jam sekitar 9.00pm, rasa masih awal lagi sebab memang indada plan bah mau jalan p LD ni, jadi membuta lagilah sia.

Ngehehehehhe good luck Lee.

ni lah pasar malam tu, tapi sia ambil petang, banyak sayap ayam ni, sedap2 lagi.

Budak ni memang banyak cerita, tapi macam biasa juga sia jenis malas melayan orang, time benggang2 ni, time bosan2 lagi tu. Apa lagi, aktiviti biasa dilakukan oleh orang kalau ikut bas malam, TIDURRRRRRRR.

Memang best tahap dewa lah tidur malam2 dalam bas tu tapi penghawa dingginnya terlalu dinggin, sejuk gila babi oh. Dah lah sejuk, mamat bernama WAN tu pun ambil kesempatan jadikan bahu… diulang BAHU sia sebagai bantalnya. Sian juga budak tu, sampai berdengkur…. Entah apa ja dibuatnya pagi tadi. Bayangkan perjalanan yang memakan masa 8 jam, kira2 6 jam dia membantalkan bahu sia, apa inda kesakitan… nasih baik sebelum jalan tu, sia sempat juga p cuci rambut di LD, sambil minta urut… ngehehehehe, jauhnya minta urut kan.

Bila sampai di Inanam sekitar jam 4 pagi, sia pun fikir2 cam mana mau balik ke Kg Limbanak awal pagi buta ni, rupanya terlalu banyak teksi lah pula sudah tersadai di terminal tu, entah dari jam berapa. Tapi sia naik City Bus, RM1.50 ja dia hantar sampai ke airport, tapi wat pa sia p airport, turun di kk cari Bakso lagi best.

So, naik bas balik kampung, n continue my sleeping beauty. Ngehehehehe

The End.
